How It Works

01 — Submit Your Idea

Fill out my commission form with your idea, reference photos, preferred size and anything else that will help me understand what you're looking for.

02 — Let's Figure It Out

I'll review your project and, if it's a good fit, we'll talk through the details, possibilities and estimated cost.

03 — Design & Approve

I'll create 2–3 initial concepts so we can settle on the direction before any wood gets cut.

04 — I Get to Work

You'll receive photos of the completed piece before it heads off to its new home.

05 — Finished

Once the design and deposit are approved, I'll start building your piece. Depending on the project, this can involve a truly unreasonable number of tiny pieces of wood.

A Few Things to Know

Pricing depends on size, complexity, materials and the amount of time involved.

I take on a limited number of commissions.
This allows me to give each project the time and attention it needs.

You'll approve the design first.
I don't start cutting until we're both happy with the direction.

A 50% deposit secures your project.
The remaining balance is due when the piece is complete.

Large pieces take time.
Especially when I'm cutting hundreds of individual pieces of wood. Apparently wood refuses to assemble itself.
