Hi, I'm Ash.

I'm a wood artist, which is a fancy way of saying I spend an unreasonable amount of time cutting tiny pieces of wood and then convincing myself I should make the next project even more complicated.

My woodworking studio is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
I create one-of-a-kind wood artwork using techniques including intarsia, scroll sawing and laser cutting. My work often explores wildlife, landscapes and the natural world, while custom commissions allow me to create pieces around a person's story, place or meaningful occasion.
